In line with traditional balloon flights, our Classic Air Balloon Flight offers guests the serene beauty of floating gently over the Cradle of Humankind or the Magaliesberg, while sipping on champagne, as the pilot allows the hot air balloon at times to drift at tree top height and at other times will ascend into the skies, offering guests a panoramic view of the beautiful African landscape below.
We have air balloon launch sites located in the Cradle of Humankind and the Magaliesberg that have been chosen for their close vicinity to the majority of lodges in the area. Alternatively, we will launch from any lodge that is more convenient to the client, providing that the lodge has adequate space for the launching of passenger balloons.

Meet at luxury Lodge
Upon arrival, Tea/ Coffee and Biscuits served as you watch the air balloon being inflated
Take-off at sunrise
Flight of approximately 1 hour
Enjoy breathtaking views of the Cradle of Humankind/Magaliesberg
Keeping with tradition, the flight will be celebrated with champagne and orange juice
Transfer back to the Lodge

Group Flights
Our air balloon flights launch daily at sunrise, all year round, and we will cater for the romantic couple to the larger groups, as well as corporate and incentive events.
Our passenger balloons accommodate 8 - 10 passengers per balloon, allowing each passenger one on one interaction with the pilot, giving the flight a personalised touch.
We can accommodate groups of up to 100 guests, with 4 passengers needed to confirm a flight (these four passengers can be booked from two individual sources).
