Our balloon Safaris takes the Classic flight beyond traditional boundaries, and is the ultimate in game viewing experiences. Approximately 80% of our air balloon rides have sightings of at least two of the Big Five within the hour's flight. The balloon safaris launches from the heart of the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve and usually covers a large portion of the Reserve before moving into the surrounding game reserves, offering guests unique game viewing and photographic opportunities.

Itinerary

• Meeting time t.b.c at a luxury Lodge
• Short briefing with guides
• Transfer through to the Reserve
• Short game drive through the Reserve to the balloon launch site
• Tea/ Coffee and Biscuits served as you watch the balloon being inflated
• Listen out for the early morning calls of lion and jackal
• Take-off at sunrise
• Hot air balloon flight of approximately 1 hour
• Enjoy game viewing from the balloon
• Keeping with tradition, the flight will be celebrated with champagne and orange juice
• Transfer back to the luxury Lodge
• Full English breakfast served
• Certificates presented to all the "brave" passengers

Group Flights

Our air balloon flights launch daily at sunrise, all year round, and we will cater for the romantic couple to the larger groups, as well as corporate and incentive events.
Our passenger balloons accommodate 8 - 10 passengers per balloon, allowing each passenger one on one interaction with the pilot, giving the flight a personalised touch.
We can accommodate groups of up to 100 guests, with 4 passengers needed to confirm a flight (these four passengers can be booked from two individual sources).

The Exclusive balloon flight offers a unique personal hot air balloon experience in one of our smaller balloons, restricted to the use of two passengers only. This exclusive balloon ride hire adds to the romance of the flight, as you are able to enjoy the experience of drifting silently across the beautiful African landscape, while sipping on champagne, in complete privacy with your partner, watching a spectacular sun rise.

You may feel free to interact with one of our experienced pilots, or you may chose to drift in silence with your loved one, giving the flight a very personal touch, and leaving you with fond memories. 1. All quotations issued are inclusive of VAT at 14% and are valid for a period of no longer than 30 days.
2. Variations to quotations must be agreed to in writing by both parties.
3. A flight will only be considered confirmed once full payment for the flight has been received. Payment must be made 7 days prior to the flight by electronic payment.
4. Proof of electronic must be emailed or faxed at least 5 days prior to the flight.
5. Flights are aircraft specific and are thus subject to aircraft serviceability and availability.
6. If a flight is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, the flight will either be re-booked or the full amount will be refunded.
7. All refunds will be transacted via the same channels from which they were paid.
